TDI Technical Divemaster
5 days to achieve the first step for
a career in Technical diving
This course will develop the skills and knowledge
required for you to lead certified Technical divers
in an open water environment.
Student pre-requisites:
Minimum age 18
Minimum certification of Recreational Divemaster
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Current Medical certificate
Proof of minimum 50+ logged open water dives
Technical Diver rating for which they are applying
for Divemaster certification in. e.g. A TDI Advanced
Nitrox Diver, who is also a Divemaster, may receive
a Technical Divemaster rating up to Advanced Nitrox.

TDI Nitrox Instructor
 |
A 1-2 day course to include two dives and
one knowledge development session.
This
is the entry level certification course
for Instructors wishing to teach Enriched
Air Nitrox as a breathing gas. If open water
dives are included, the maximum depth is
not to exceed the skill level of the Instructor.
The objectives of this course are to train
Instructors in the benefits, hazards, and
proper procedures for teaching EAN-22 to
EAN-40.

be combined with program)

TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor
4 dives plus the theory you need to increase
your teaching knowledge over 3-4 days.
This is the instructor level certification course
for those wishing to teach the use of EAN-21 through
100% oxygen for optimal mixes to a depth of 40m.
The object of this course is to train Nitrox Instructors
to teach the benefits, hazards and proper procedures
for EAN-21 through 100% oxygen for dives not requiring
staged decompression.
Student pre-requisites:
Minimum age 18
Minimum certification of TDI Nitrox Instructor
Minimum certification of Advanced Nitrox Diver
(may be combined with program)
Proof of 100+ logged open water dives to include
25+ logged Nitrox dives
Must have certified 10 students in Entry level

TDI Decompression Procedures Instructor
A 4-5 day course with four dives and
theory that trains you to plan and conduct a standard
decompression procedures course not to exceed
a maximum depth of 45m.
This course examines the theory, methods and
procedures of planned stage decompression diving.
This program is designed as a stand-alone course
or it may be taught in conjunction with such TDI
courses as TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor, TDI
Advanced Wreck Instructor, or TDI Extended Range
Instructor.
Student pre-requisites:
Minimum age 18
Minimum certification of TDI Nitrox Instructor
Minimum certification of TDI Decompression Procedures
Diver
Proof of 150+ logged open water dives
Must have certified 10 students in SDI Deep Diver
or Advanced Nitrox Diver

TDI Extended Range Instructor
 |
Dive deeper over 5-6 days to
include 6 dives and the relevant theory.
This course provides the training and experience
required to be certified to competently
teach air dives to 55m that require staged
decompression, utilizing Nitrox mixtures
or oxygen during decompression. |

Minimum certification of TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor
Minimum certification of TDI Decompression Procedures

Proof of 250+ logged dives to include 25+ extended

TDI Advanced Trimix Instructor
A 6 day course including 5 dives and
theory. You will learn how to teach the benefits,
hazards and proper procedures of utilizing custom
oxygen/helium/nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases.
The TDI Trimix Instructor Course provides the
training required to competently and safely teach
breathing gases containing helium for dives that
require staged decompression to a maximum depth
of 100m.
Student pre-requisites:
Minimum age 21
Minimum certification of TDI Extended Range Instructor
or TDI Trimix Instructor
Minimum certification of TDI Advanced Trimix Diver
Proof of 250+ logged dives to include 30+ logged
Trimix dives and 20+ dives deeper than 55m
Must have certified 10 students in Extended Range
Diver or Trimix Diver to at least 45m OR assisted
with 2 or more complete Advanced Trimix classes
taught by a TDI Advanced Trimix Instructor and
provide a letter of recommendation as such.

TDI Advanced Wreck Instructor

The objective of this 4-5 day
course is to train Instructors in the proper
techniques, equipment requirements and hazards
of teaching wreck diving. Includes 6 dives.
Through advanced techniques, this course
will instill a level of comfort and discipline
allowing you to conduct wreck courses with
a greater margin of safety, productivity
and enjoyment. This program includes penetration
skills and techniques. Depths shall not
exceed the level in which the Instructor
is trained and competent, up to a maximum
depth of 55m. |

A 1-2 day course for those wishing to
teach the TDI Nitrox Gas Blender program.
The objective of this course is to train Instructors
to teach the proper techniques involved in blending
Nitrox gasses for use in scuba.

TDI O2 Equipment Service Technician Instructor

to teach the TDI Service Technician Course.

Closed & Semi Closed Rebreather Instructor
Courses
These 3-4 day courses include a knowledge
development session and 4 dives.
The objective of these courses is to train Instructors
to teach recreational Nitrox Rebreather diving,
and to develop basic Rebreather diving skills
appropriate to diving within the normal recreational
depth limits for no-decompression diving.
These courses are unit specific.
